The present study was conducted with the objective of determining the relationship between motivation and satisfaction with the chosen career in students of the Escuela Superior de Formación Artística Pública Bellas Artes of the city of Trujillo, in the year 2020. This is a correlational study, with a correlational-transectional design. The study sample consisted of 104 students of the pedagogical area of this higher educational institution. Two validated and highly reliable questionnaires were used as data collection instruments. The results show that 51.5% of the students have high levels of motivation, while 53.8% have medium levels of satisfaction. When evaluating the correlation through Spearman's Rho statistic, a p_value of 0.126 higher than the significance level of 0.05 was obtained, concluding that there is no relationship between motivation and satisfaction with the chosen career in students of the Escuela Superior de Formación Artística Pública Bellas Artes of the cityof Trujillo, in the year 2020.
