Autorenporträt
Dawn Gauvreau has been a Special Education teacher for over three decades. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State College, a Master of Science in Reading from the State University of New York at Albany, and a second Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. Currently, she is working toward completing her Ph.D.

She has taught all grades and ages from 4 year olds to adults. After experiencing teaching at all levels, she has found her home in middle school teaching grades 6-8 at Camden Middle School in Camden, South Carolina. Evenings she teaches College Skills and Developmental Reading at Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter, South Carolina. Her wide varieties of experiences have provided her endless opportunities to use in the making of this book.

Dawn lives in South Carolina with her husband Bob.
