This book continues the exploration of fault diagnosis in induction motors and is divided into two main sections: the first covers literature on induction motor drive systems, including signal processing fundamentals, wavelet transformations, and scalar parameters; the second focuses on experimentation aimed at developing a straightforward and effective methodology for diagnosing faults in induction motor drive systems. This work contributes to diagnosing mechanical defects in induction motor drive systems using vibration analysis techniques. It is based on an experimental setup involving accelerometers to validate defects and create a database of vibration signals. The experimental section primarily employs wavelet transformations and a combination of scalar indicators to identify defect types, enabling the development of timely preventive or corrective maintenance programs.
