ABOUT THE BOOK: Motor Insurance is one of the compulsory insurances in Nigeria, especially the third party liability arising from the use of the vehicle on the public roads. It is the commonest type of insurance in Nigeria and probably the most notorious. Many students of insurance, risk management and related disciplines in Nigerian higher institutions lack interest and possess schema that motor insurance does not work. They presume that the motor insurers do not pay genuine claims as and when due. There is therefore need for simplified approach to educate students and knowledge seekers on the concepts and practice of motor vehicle insurance. Of course, knowledge of the original will always diminish any thriving of fakes, all things being equal. This book has six chapters and revision questions at the end of the book. The chapters covered are: introduction to motor insurance; legislations affecting motor insurance in Nigeria; motor insurance documentation I; and motor insurance documentation II.
