It's 1980 something , Trudie Pabor is the adolescent daughter of a vegetarian biker father and a frugal God fearing mother. She wants the things other, normal teenagers want: acceptance and anonymity. But time spent with her parents often ends in disaster: bike crashes, car crashes, leaking tents and floating out to sea. Going on family adventures is never boring, except when it's really boring.
