Autorenporträt
Müge Iplikçi is renowned for her short stories and novels, which deal with the contemporary social relations and positions of women. Her works have been translated into many different languages, and she has also written books for children and young adults, as well as two scholarly works. She has been a member of Writers in Prison Committee (WIPC) of the Turkish PEN Centre for three years and is now the chairperson of the Turkish Women Writers' Committee. She currently teaches part time at Istanbul Bilgi University and writes a column for Vatan newspaper.
