Dr Johann Eloff sr is a professional Family Therapist at the Good News Counselling Family Care Clinic in Brisbane Australia (a counselling programme of the Australian Institute for Narrative Care). He specialises in helping families and family members strengthen their resilience in the face of extreme distress, and minimising the negative impact of distressing circumstances on their lives. He holds a B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology, a M.Th. degree in Practical Theology and a Ph.D. Degree in Practical Theology, focused on a pastoral family therapeutic approach to Stress Therapy. He is the Founding Director of the Australian Institute for Narrative Care, a member of PACFA, CCAA and a former member of IAAN, IAHA. He has been working in the fields of Family Therapy and Stress Related Conditions for more than 22 years.
