Autorenporträt
Giannis Charonis is a 10 year old 5th grader who came up with the original idea of "Mr. Bad Bug." The idea came to him when explaining to his younger siblings why they couldn't go out and play with their friends like the "old days" during the Corona Virus pandemic. Mr. Bad Bug turned into a short poem Giannis created. He shared Mr. Bad Bug with his class and it soon became a household explanation for why his siblings and cousins couldn't do some of the things they were used to. Seeing how well the younger children took to the concept of "Mr. Bad Bug" as a "matter of fact" explanation that they easily understood, Giannis, working with his mother, decided to try and find a way to bring this story to children around the globe and make it easier for them all to understand the global pandemic, and "bad bugs" generally.
