Barbara Hotter has been an elementary-school teacher for the past ten years working in the south suburbs of Chicago. Ever since she was a teenager, she has wanted to be a teacher. She continues to have a love for teaching even on the bad days. Happily married to her high school sweetheart and raising two boys, she enjoys watching movies, going on walks with her dog, Emma, and being surrounded by family and friends.
