Between 2004 and 2005, he went to Dschang State University to study English literature and linguistics, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2007, focused on poetry and African orature. In 2008, he enrolled in a master's degree program in cinema studies at the University of Yaoundé 1 but later traveled to the USA. In 2012, he graduated from divinity studies in New York City, Manhattan, and later obtained a second master's degree in political science from American Public University, West Virginia, in 2017.
