After graduating from the Naval Academy in 2012, Amanda Kinsel began her professional career as an Officer in the U.S. Navy, but she didn't realize her ambition to write children's stories until she became a mom in 2019. Amanda, her husband Chris, and their four children live in Mystic, CT with their dog, Paul and their ten chickens. Raising wholesome children who value their faith and family is their life mission. As a family they enjoy spending as much time as possible with their large extended family, who inspired this book, and going on family outings to a park, hike, or the aquarium.
