Autorenporträt
Sonia Coluccelli, editor of this volume, has a degree in philosophy. She has been a primary school teacher since 1995. Coordinator of the Montessori Schools Network, she is a trainer and head of training at the Montessori Foundation Italy. As an author, she has published a dozen of pedagogical essays on the current state of Montessori thought. She is also involved in the supervision of experiences that read Montessori thought in the light of contemporary educational issues and the most recent contributions of active pedagogy. Silvia Pietrantonio is a teacher of Philosophy and History and a trainer at the Montessori Foundation Italy. She is co-author with Sonia Coluccelli of the book Il metodo Montessori oggi (Erickson, 2017) and of several specific articles on the subject. She founded and chaired the Associazione Libera-Mente, which in 2014 gave life to the first Montessori parenting school experience in Trentino. Silvia Sapori Tirelli is the mother of four girls enrolled in Montessori courses in both public and parental schools. She received training at the Montessori Foundation Italy for the age group 3-6 years and 6-11 years. Today she is the coordinator of the Children's House and of the Montessori primary school initiated by the Associazione Semi di Senape di Pavia. Roberta Raco is a senior trainer at the Montessori Foundation Italy. Since 2014 she has been a teacher and coordinator of the Villa Clara Vigliani Children's Home in Candelo, in the province of Biella. She collaborates with the magazine MoMo (Mondo Montessori) of the Fondazione Montessori Italia. Praticien according to Arno Stern's approach, she is in charge of the workshop at the same school.
