The issue of multiuser (MU) detection in digital communications has become a great matter of interest, as multi user interference unavoidably occurs in every real system (as, for instance, a cell) and because of that, it must be taken into account and faced consequently. For this book a solution based on GSLC ('Generalized Side Lobe Canceller') scheme has been chosen, as it allows us to efficiently suppress this interference without knowing the exact number of simultaneous transmissions within the coverage area. After an introduction to this topic, the mathematical background of this kind of solutions is to be widely discussed. Moreover, several computer simulations over a multipath scenario will support the feasibility of our proposal and compare it with other traditional solutions such as the 'Zero-Forcing' (ZF) and the 'Minimum Mean Square Error' (MMSE) criteria.
