Raised in Virginia, Gloria Thrall was a school counselor and teacher for over 30 years, and is an educator at heart. Raising her own children and working with generations of students, she always had a passion for sharing the joy of reading and writing with young people. Now a retired grandmother, she is excited to finally write some of her own stories. Her granddaughter Eleanor is an inspiration for many books she plans to share with this new generation. Sara Thrall grew up in rural Colorado, spending many happy days making mud stew and other concoctions with the expert assistance of her siblings. Now, as her own family grows, she looks forward to sharing the joy of the great outdoors with her children, and encouraging hands-on adventures for young people through her books. She and her husband live in the hills of Boulder, Colorado with their beloved daughter, two dogs, and a number of four-legged foster friends from a local dog rescue.
