Autorenporträt
Writer and artist, Dianne Barske, lived in Anchorage for 42 years. In 2017, she moved to Oregon to be near her growing family. She is the mother of two sons and a daughter, and grandmother of 5. Dianne loves teaching art to children, considering it a grand adventure, and offered art classes to children at the Alaska Zoo for several years. Annabelle was the zoo's elephant artist and first resident animal. Mukluks for Annabelle won first place for children's non-fiction books from the National Federation of Press Women in 2000.
