Supply chain management is one of the most critical issues in today's managerial research. To effectively manage a supply chain, efficient design of the entire network should be established. Researchers have produced extensive literature in this field. Many of the issues related to supply chains have been considered separately in these designs. These issues include location of facilities, allocation of customer demand, multi-commodity, multi-period planning, inventory, production, and distribution. Researchers have mostly addressed these different issues separately, and have taken one, two or three of the previous issues at most, simultaneously. In this book, a mathematical model that treats such limitations in the literature is constructed. The proposed model is a capacitated three echelons multi-commodity dynamic production-distribution model with inventory considerations. Solution methodology of the model is presented, and the model is implemented to a real-world industrial case study. The book is meant to provide some novel analytical insights for academicians and practitioners of supply chain management and network design.
