In this book core issues of location management in PCS Network are briefly discussed. Current schemes being used in PCS Network is suffering from call misrouting. This book also analyzes various schemes, proposed by various researchers and focuses on the problems associated with them. In wireless communication, bandwidth is a scarce resource. We have no any method to increase the bandwidth in wireless communication. The discreet use of this limited bandwidth has been a major challenge in the wireless communication. A wireless network should provide a better QoS in terms of both call delivery and location management. The multi HLR architecture with group de-registration gives better result. Conventional problem associated with existing scheme like HLR bottleneck and call misrouting will never take place in the proposed architecture. Proposed architecture provides a better QoS even in peak hour and heavy traffic. It also saves bandwidth. The saved bandwidth can be further used to offer new services in PCS Network.
