The book is devoted to the problem of multicultural education of high school pupils in Euroclubs of comprehensive secondary educational institutions. Based on the analysis of national and foreign scientific, psychological and pedagogical literature, the research reveals the essence of multicultural education within Euroclub activity as the process of social and cultural identification of a person in a multicultural society, which is created and functions in the secondary educational institution in order to recognize cultural diversity and develop pupils' tolerant attitude towards cultural differences and ability to cooperate effectively with representatives of various cultural groups, ability to generate creative solutions to unusual situations while intercultural interacting. Components, criteria, indicators and levels of high school pupils' multicultural education within Euroclub activity are defined. The effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions and the structural model of high school pupils' multicultural education within Euroclub activity is substantiated and experimentally tested.
Autorenporträt
Anna Kyrpa is a teacher, a researcher, a cofounder and a facilitator of Euroclub movement in Kamianske (Dnipropetrovs'k oblast, Ukraine). In 2009 she graduated from Dniprodzerzhynsk State Technical University. In 2017 she got a research degree (PhD) at the Institute of Problems of Education of National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
