Autorenporträt
Katie Jane Patterson obtained her PhD in 2016 from the University of Liverpool. She has held full-time teaching positions at the University of Eastern Finland, University Austral de Chile, and the University of Roehampton in London. She now works at the University of Granada. Her research interests include metaphor, lexical priming and discourse analysis. Encarnación Hidalgo-Tenorio is a Full Professor in English Linguistics at the University of Granada. Since obtaining her PhD, her work has combined her interest in the relationship between language and gender, language and politics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Corpus Linguistics, Forensic Linguistics and Systemic Functional Linguistics.
