The formation of urban public spaces occupies a prominent place both in scientific research and in recent architectural discussions. The rapid development of technology means that people's lifestyles and cultural needs are changing very rapidly, but the urban environment is not, in most cases, prepared for such changes. This is primarily reflected in the constant diversification of public spaces, their constant change and the increasing complexity of their internal organisation. Moreover, in the system of the ever-evolving city, where there is less and less space for construction, the problem of renovation of abandoned areas has become urgent. The right approach to renovating such areas can solve the shortage of space for construction and make use of currently abandoned industrial sites.
