Caroline Bouchard's research focuses on the EU at the United Nations and international human rights negotiations. She has held Research and Teaching Fellowships at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and has worked for the Council of Europe and the International Development Research Centre, Canada. John Peterson is Professor of International Politics at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Nathalie Tocci is Deputy Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali, Italy.
