The research was developed during the 2021 school year, at Amalia Simoni Elementary School in Nuevitas, aimed at the elaboration of multimedia educational activities that favor reading comprehension in 4th grade students. In the elaboration of the theoretical foundation, the author takes as reference previous researches and works carried out by outstanding exponents of national and foreign educational sciences. The causes that affect the problem are determined, which are verified through different research methods and techniques that made possible the detection of difficulties and the results are offered. In order to contribute to the solution of the problem, the author proposes multimedia educational activities that favor reading comprehension in 4th grade students. The practical significance of the research developed is ratified by the results obtained.
