This book therefore provides an approach of pellets for enhancing dissolution rate of Telmisartan using different carriers like PVP, PEG 4000, PEG 6000, Mannitol, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Magnesium Oxide and Sodium bicarbonate along with various manufacturing methods, advantages, various technologies that employ pellets. Factorial design was used for optimizing the concentration of carrier and size of the pellets. Use of Magnesium oxide and Sodium bicarbonate satisfied the dissolution requirements. Size of non-pareil seeds and carrier ratio were optimized using a 2x2 factorial design.
