Autorenporträt
Dr. Berardi is the President of the International Association of Building Physics (IABP). Dr. Berardi has been NSERC Canada Research Chair in Building Science and Full Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Canada (from August 2014 to August 2024). He is the Director of the BeTOP center at the Politecnico di Bari, Italy. His main research interests are the study of innovative materials for improving the performance within the built environment. Dr. Berardi has an extensive publication record, including 200 peer-reviewed journals, 200 international conference papers, and ten books. He is a member of the College of New Scholars of the Royal Society of Canada and has won several awards including the Frontiers Planet Prize in 2024.
