A compilation of modern decision-making techniques, this reference focuses on the fuzzy set approach to multiple attribute decision making (MADM). Drawing on their extensive experience, the authors present methods and real-life applications of MADM techniques that can be used in decision analysis. The methods section of the text explains the theory of each method and includes numerical examples that can be calculated without a computer, providing a complete understanding of the procedures. The application section explores how methods such as DEMATEL, TOPSIS, and VIKOR can be used to solve real-world MADM problems.…mehr
