Waste generation is an inevitable outcome of the development activities. The main contents of this book are to assess the environmental quality and pollution hazard of the municipal area and to assess the impact of society. This study also estimate the demand for getting better management by using econometric models. Econometric models are used to find out the probability of cost sharing and Willingness to pay of the people for better quality of environment. Based on the results, few recommendations are also suggested for improvement of waste management in the area. This book is very much useful for the students at the master's level and especially for the researchers who wants to do their research work on the field of waste management in environmental economics. This book is also useful for the policy makers at the municipal management level.
