Ishwar Chandra Yadav tiene una maestría en Ciencias Ambientales (medalla de oro) de la Universidad de Mysore, Mysore, India. Actualmente, está haciendo su doctorado en el Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Botánica de la Universidad Hindú de Banaras, Varanasi, India. Es autor de numerosos trabajos de investigación y libros, entre ellos sobre gestión de residuos sólidos, efluentes de fábricas de papel y contaminación por arsénico.
