Considering everything she has to lose -- a successful medical practice, her relationship with her college-aged son Josiah, her hunky fireman boyfriend AJ -- Myaisha uses what sleuthing skills she's developed as a hobbyist mystery writer to try and uncover the darker, sleazier layers of neighborhood life around her. The third in Michelle Corbier's cozy "Write Club Mystery" series, Murder Between Neighbors is an eminently readable, highly entertaining who-dun-it that perfectly balances rich, relatable characters with a tense plot that twists elegantly toward a startling climax.
