Ardelle Holden and her husband, Patrick, raised two children adventuring together in aviation, mining exploration, and in the wild rice lakes of northern Manitoba.In Victoria BC, Ardelle studied for other careers, including medical office assistant for physicians and surgeons, videographer, and seamstress-designing for well-coordinated square dance couples.In Lac du Bonnet MB, as the Country Mouse Scrapbooker, she guided her clients in the preservation of family histories and photographs.Now retired in Nanaimo BC, her plastic flowers and polyester pets enable Ardelle to winter in Ajijic, Mexico where she is slapping paint on canvas, tangling, writing novels and chasing creative rainbows.
