The story of the Creoles, Choctaws, and an unsolved grisly murder from the 1920's are detailed around the mossy bayous and cemeteries of the region. Author KT Ashely is an American writer from the South whose genres include Historical, Realistic, and Mystery Fiction. He is a native of Louisiana but now lives in southern Mississippi. The author also lived for several years in northern New England after serving in the U.S. Naval Nuclear Submarine Force during the Cold War. Much of his writing is influenced by historical events from contemporary to ancient. The human condition and it's affects on society are often the theme. Plot lines involving prejudices, indifference, wealth disparities, and military service are common.
