Karen Hudgins loves good stories in all their forms and began writing her own. Her first, a single-title romance novel, was published in 2001, with 6 more to follow. In 2016 she followed her urge to write mystery novellas, and created the Diane Phipps series available on Amazon and other sources. She has introduced a new P.I., Arden Fleming, to solve whodunit for bringing peace and closure to the surviving families and friends of homicide victims. She likes to set her stories in interesting places, and her intrepid investigator peels away layers of mystery. By the end, her P.I. faces dangers and delivers truth to the law. Then, Karen knows she's done her job as an author.Karen lives in Colorado Springs, is a grandmother, and still has her ginger cat, Bootsie. She engages in life-long learning. nature photography, reading, light hiking, and she knits scarves. She loves spending time with readers and her writing groups.
