G. A. Cockerham lives on the southern Oregon coast, an area that provides the inspiration for much of her writing and is the location for the Oregon Coast murder mystery series. She is a member of Mystery Writers of America. G. A. is a retired financial advisor and insurance broker. She volunteers for the Curry County Sheriff's Office and serves on the board of directors for the Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative. G. A. is married to Bruce Cockerham. Bruce retired after thirty years in law enforcement and is the technical consultant for her murder mysteries.
