Sean Michael Wilson es un escritor escocés que vive en Japón. Sus numerosas novelas gráficas, traducidas a doce idiomas, han sido publicadas por varias editoriales. En 2016, su libro Lafcadio Hearn's "The Faceless host" and Other Macabre Tales from Japan fue nominado al prestigioso Premio Eisner en la categoría de mejor adaptación; asimismo, recibió una medalla del Independent Publisher Book Awards. En 2017, su libro Secrets of the Ninja ganó el Premio Internacional de Manga, organizado por el gobierno japonés. Es el primer británico que ha recibido este galardón. Michiru Morikawa es una ilustradora japonesa y artista manga. En 2005 ganó el prestigioso International Manga and Anime Award. Es creadora, junto con Sean Michael Wilson, de numerosas novelas gráficas como Buskers, Yakuza Moon o The Demon's Sermon on the Martial Arts.
