This paper, which represents my doctoral thesis, investigates education in museums with a focus on the performance of museum heritage researchers in the school context and in education museums. Education in museums is understood as the mobilization of knowledge, that is, how to employ the resources of the museum for the improvement of people, encouraging the development of new sensibilities and new experiences. The research which is articulated to the project "Preservation of Educational Heritage", coordinated by Prof. Dr. Maria Cristina Menezes, from the Faculty of Education of the State University of Campinas, FE/UNICAMP/Brazil, aimed to investigate the particularity of "education in museums" in Museums of Education, having as a guiding basis the interactive exhibitions.
