The study focused on establishing the contribution of music on human rights promotion in Uganda, Mpigi Town Council. It was carried out in Mpigi Town Council located in Central Uganda focusing 6 years (2014-2019). Kaleke Kasome song has enhanced people's awareness about the value of girls' education has increased given that the main theme of the song is hinged to education. Findings from the study revealed that in bid to create awareness, the song is performed to various audiences during outreaches conducted by KAKAF to caregivers, school communities and social gatherings. Through community dialogues held within Mpigi District, KAKAF involves the use of music as a tool for creating awareness for human rights protection to protect the girl child with specific emphasis on the girls' right to education. It was revealed that, Kaleke Kasome song had impacted the conduct of students in schools and communities in which girls specifically exhibit security consciousness. The song addresses girls' well being which initiates them to take caution about bad touches advanced by any potential human rights abusers especially men so as to avoid temptation.
