How can music in the year 8 classroom be presented so that it stimlates students' interest, improves their knowledge and skills, and develops their aesthetic sensitivity to the art of music? This book details an action research project that was set up in a music classroom. The project aimed at engaging the students in music making and creating a positive attitude to school music. The model of action research can be employed by music teachers when designing music experiences and encourages teachers to become reflective practitioners with a view to improving their practice.
