Autorenporträt
Edith Borroff (Ph.D., University of Michigan) is a prominent musicologist and composer. She has taught at several universities and was professor of music at the State University of New York (Binghamton) for almost twenty years. Among her other books are The Music of the Baroque (1978), Music in Europe and the United States: A History (1990), and American Opera: A Checklist (1992).
