Autorenporträt
Ric Alviso was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Bell Gardens. He received a Bachelor''s of Music degree from California State University, Long Beach in music composition and a Masters and Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from UCLA. Dr.Alviso has conducted fieldwork in Africa and United States. He is currently Associate Professor of Music at CSU Northridge
