This book is part of a historiographic movement on inter-Maghreb relations that has been underway for about ten years. In Maghrebian universities, seminars, colloquia and publications are multiplying and diversifying. Storico del Maghreb contemporaneo, Mohammed Amattat ha conseguito un dottorato in storia ed è professore presso il Centre de Formation des Inspecteurs de l'Enseignement (CFIE) di Rabat. È anche ricercatore associato presso l'Istituto reale di studi strategici (IRES) e visiting professor presso l'Accademia marocchina di studi diplomatici (AMED) di Rabat.
