Seebaway Zakaria, es diplomado en el estudio de las religiones, licenciado en árabe y en filosofía y tiene una maestría en filosofía en estudios africanos, todos ellos de la Universidad de Ghana. Es profesor en la Universidad Islámica y en la Universidad de Ciencia y Tecnología Kwame Nkrumah, y es una personalidad muy conocida de la radio y la televisión de Ghana.
