Flying and airplanes have been Gerard Mofet's passion since he was ten years old. He immigrated to Canada at a young age and attended CESPA Aviation College between 1997 and 1999, where he received an aviation diploma and a Commercial Pilot Licence. With over 13,000 hours of flying time and twenty-two years of airline pilot experience, Gerard is type rated on seven different airplanes and holds instructor and examiner licences and privileges. He has a great passion for the aviation industry, its safety, and its equal opportunities and to teach and share his aviation knowledge. Gerard is currently a captain on the jet airliner the Airbus A330.
