Autorenporträt
Nikki Saunders was born in Suffolk, she has two children with autism and works in Special Education. Nikki's eldest son was diagnosed with autism in 2012 and found a lack of inclusion on the bookshelves. Nikki went on to scribble social stories daily to help with social and mainstream situations, to then create 'My Awesome Autism' in 2019, to help her son learn about his autism. It was such a success that Nikki wanted to share this with as many children, teachers, parents and carers as possible to help children with autism feel understood and supported in society.
