Autorenporträt

Deeanne has a degree in education and has been a successful teacher and leader in Australian schools for the past sixteen years. She has taught in support units and mainstream classrooms, and has a deep understanding of the complexities faced by families who have a child on the autism spectrum. Deeanne raises two boys of her own, Miles and Jett. Miles has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), so Deeanne knows firsthand the challenges of siblings in building relationships and understanding autism.
