Stephen has been involved in the creative arts since his time playing tuba in his hometown of New Windsor, NY to studying music at the University of Miami. After moving to Los Angeles in the late 80s, Stephen pursued a career as a heavy metal bassist. Have you ever heard of the band Metallica? Stephen was never in that band. His love of the creative arts led him to pursue a new field of creative technology. From a stint at Chiat/Day Advertising in Venice, CA, Stephen ended up at Hanna-Barbera where he participated in the implementation of digital production processes. From there he spent over a decade at the Walt Disney Company leading creative technology for Disney Consumer Products, Walt Disney Television Animation and DIsneyToon Studio. He's spent the last decade and a half as the Media Architect and Senior Producer for Academic Media Production at Duke University in Durham, NC
