Dulcie Stone was born in Robeline, Louisiana, in the middle of the Depression years. Those were hard times for everyone, and especially for a woman. Poverty was a major factor in Dulcie's life, and this was exacerbated by the fact that she was raised without a father in the home. Later when Dulcie trusted Christ, she relied on her heavenly Father to bring her through many difficult times.
