Mark Spurling spends most of his days as a Field case manager refereeing and solving problems for clients, employees and writing the occasional report or company letter every now and then. With dissipating dreams of becoming an author he focused on helping to raise his daughters. And with a series of life changing events his passion for creative writing was renewed and gave way to the birth of his first novel. With a renewed passion Mark likes writing in several genres which include fiction, mystery, romance, self help and children's literature, and is well on his way to becoming a best selling author. He spends his spare time volunteering in the Audio/Visual department where he attends church learning the ins and outs of directing and plans on venturing into screenplays. Mark's hobbies include fishing, golfing, and traveling; but more than anything he enjoys a good story. In the fall of they year he can often be seen in a local coffee house sipping a pumpkin spice latte while making notes in his ipad; but usually does most of his writing at home between the hours of 11 am and 6 am while everyone else in the house is asleep.
