Amelia "Meli" Cantu was born and raised in Sanger, California. She now resides in Houston, Texas, her prayer ministry is called MELI.C, an acronym for My Eternal Life In Christ / Mi Eternidad Luce Incluyendo Cristo. She is the author of My Eternal Life In Christ, a women's 30-day devotional and A Crisis Chaplain who serves the community and local police department. Amelia Gutierrez Cantu was born on the El Mogollon ranch in General Teran, Mexico. Her parents, Ismael and Maria Lorenza Gutierrez, always did everything possible to provide her and her siblings a good life. At sixteen, her parents arranged to move and live in the United States. Amelia remembers working in the fields of McAllen, Texas, when she was a teenager; picking beets and grapes in California. Forty cents an hour were the wages earned while working with her sister, Lulu, who has since entered eternal rest. Amelia dedicates this book to her memory. 1968, she married Vicente, and they have lived in Sanger, California, for fifty-two years. They recently celebrated fifty-six years of marriage together. They have five children, of whom they are very proud. They have nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Amelia finds immense joy in cooking, baking, and spending time with her loved ones. Her daily routine includes prayer and reading the Bible, a practice she credits for the abundant blessings in her life, particularly her beautiful family. Amelia's prayers are filled with hope and positivity, wishing health, healing, peace, unity, forgiveness, and love for all. She is excited to celebrate her eighth birthday this year and to have the opportunity to co-write her first book with her daughter, Meli. Her hope is that the Lord will lead you on the best path for your life as you achieve all he has for you. She is a breast cancer survivor and knows the power of praying, having faith, and believing in God to make the impossible possible.
