Autorenporträt
Tom Wade. Jr. grew up in Kenton, Tennessee, pop. 892. He was educated in the Kenton school system, at McCa11ie School in Chattanooga, and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. He and his family have lived in Union City, Tennessee for the past 40 years, and he goes to work in Kenton six to seven days a week. In Kenton he is a fourth generation farmer and third generation cotton ginner and grain dealer. He grows strawberries as have his Wade predecessors continuously for over 100 years. He has been very active in the affairs of his alma maters, his college fraternity, and his trade associations. Tom Wade, Jr. has been equally as active in terms of his family and friends. He has kept in close touch with literally hundreds of these folks from coast to coast and for severa1 decades he has compiled information about them for this book.
