There were 103,000 screaming Russkees and Americans applauding when Valeriy Brumel the Russian high jumper cleared 7'4 3/4" in the high jump pit right in front of me for a world record. In my mind, they were cheering for me as a future quarterback for Stanford. That was my vision. It was from God. I could feel it. From that day forward I knew that I was going to be an All American quarterback for Stanford.
