When I first caught the bug for woodworking and building wood projects, I wasn't very happy with the plans I found online. The projects were either too complex for a beginner, or too simple for my taste (who really needs another spice rack?). I wanted something in between, projects that are easy to build, but also practical and useful. I never found the plans I wanted, so I decided to design my own. My First Project includes step-by-step instructions for building three of the most important (and useful) projects you can have for your home and shop, which include the EZ Cutting Station, EZ Workbench, and the EZ Bookcase.
